Shipping/Delivery Terms & Conditions
We strive to fulfil deliveries within 48 hours of orders being placed, however, it can take up to 72 hours for far outlying areas.Out of stock items may take longer than the above timeframes. If you would like more info on a delivery time frame to your area, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 032 586 0800.
Goods are delivered via our Door to Door courier service, should you choose your own courier provider you will be liable for the shipping fee. All goods are insured to your door so there is no risk involved for you as a customer. Should the goods be damaged upon delivery, we will incur all costs to replace the goods as soon as possible. Refer to terms and conditions.
Free delivery is from Mondays to Fridays, 8 am – 4 pm.
If you require a Saturday delivery, then you will be charged as this is a special service.
For any and all international Export parcels, Custom Duties and Taxes will be paid by the receiver. Note any items purchased and exported will have to be self-insured. If a parcel is damaged in transit, the courier company and iMation Online cannot be held liable.
Refund/Return Terms & Conditions
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product to us and we will either replace/repair under warranty, or refund your account, subject to the below terms. This Policy applies to products bought from Imation Online.
Please ensure the product being returned meets the following requirements:
- Ensure your products are safely and securely packages again for protection during transit;
- Clearly mark your return with your original order number on the outside of the parcel, and include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product.
- Return all items with the original packaging.
- Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your return or result in its decline altogether.
You can return an unwanted product to us, with only the shipping charge applicable. To return unwanted products, please ensure:
- The product is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
- The product should still be in its original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if possible).
- The product cannot have any missing any accessories or parts;
- A return must be logged within 10 days of delivery to you or collection of the product by contacting us telephonically or via email. After 10 days, you can only return a product if it is defective, and the item is still under warranty.
Changed your mind?
If you’ve changed your mind and would like a credit for a product, you can return it – provided the product meets the above-mentioned requirements. We will collect the product from you. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will refund you with the purchase price of the product (excluding the shipping price), within 10 days of the return.
If you wish to exchange your product, we will collect the product from you and deliver the requested product to you at a nominal shipping fee. If such variation is not available, we will refund you with the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return. All the above conditions of returns would still apply.
Received the wrong order?
If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you, or if the product is not as described on the website, please notify us and we will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or refund you with the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return.
Should a product be damaged at the time of delivery, kindly notify us telephonically or via email, within 7 days of the delivery. These damages exclude misuse from negligence or incorrect setup once the product has been delivered (as stated below under “faulty products”)
We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice repair / replace the product as soon as possible (if such repair is possible/ we have the same product in stock to use as a replacement) or credit your account with the purchase price of the product (or refund you if that is your preference).
Unfortunately, technology fails us from time to time and out of box failures/defects do happen from time to time.
The following will NOT be regarded as faulty/defective products and will not entitle you to a return:
- Any faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
- Any damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
- Damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;
- Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
- Damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product;
- Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you; and/or
- Signs of handling and/or repackaging.
If you have received a product which turns out to be defective or otherwise of poor quality, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect or poor quality, but in any event within 6 months after delivery/collection of the product.
You can do so contacting us telephonically or via email, and we will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice repair / replace the product (if such repair is possible / we have the same product in stock to use as a replacement).
Where there is no extended supplier warranty period, unfortunately, we cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of the 6-month period.
Extended Supplier Warranty
A product may have a supplier warranty that extends beyond the 6-month Standard Warranty. If such a product turns out to be defective more than 6 months after delivery/collection, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within the extended supplier warranty period after delivery/collection of the product.
You can do so by notifying us telephonically or via email, and we will facilitate your return of the product to the supplier at no charge. Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of the extended supplier warranty period.
Please note that any extended supplier warranty is subject to whatever terms and conditions the supplier or manufacturer may impose. These are usually stated in a brochure or leaflet inside or on the product packaging. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of any such terms and conditions.
It is also important to note that it will be in the supplier or manufacturer’s discretion what remedy it can offer you. Imation is under no obligation to provide you with a credit, repair/replacement, as your remedy lies with the supplier or manufacturer.
If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled to (subject to CPA) to refuse the return.
ORDERS & DELIVERIES OVER THE FESTIVE SEASON
All orders placed after Monday 4pm, 18 December 2017 will be fulfilled in January 2018 when our suppliers reopen (between 4th and 15th January). You are welcome to place orders during this period, but they will only be processed in the new year. We would like to wish all our customers a wonderful festive season and safe travels.
